week3

At the beginning of the story, a girl is sitting on the ground. Countless hands (monsters she knows) are stretched out in the dark environment. These hands are all rushing towards her. At the critical moment, the girl wakes up in the next second. She is glad that the previous encounter was a dream. , She can always dream about the content just now. She went to the bathroom to wash up, but the next second a whisperer said something in her ear, which frightened her. She thought everything was caused by being too tired recently I had a hallucination, so I went out without thinking much.

WEEK 2

Because George said that I couldn’t directly use or borrow existing film shots or plot relationships, I started my project again.

As I am particularly fond of Chihiro, I will draw on the element of Shinto for the thematic tone of the story.

As a creator, I have always been fascinated by exploring the human inner world and the adventurous experiences of personal growth. The movie “Spirited Away,” in its unique way, portrayed the story of an ordinary girl’s journey of maturation in a magical and unfamiliar world, deeply touching my heart. This story has provided me with boundless imaginative space and inspiration, igniting my desire to create similar tales.

I aim to delve into the themes of human emotions and personal growth through crafting a similar narrative, enabling the audience to embark on a fantastical and profound journey alongside the story’s characters. Such a story can allow viewers to experience thrilling adventures while contemplating the importance of self-awareness, perseverance, and courage. I firmly believe that such stories can provide enlightenment and emotional resonance, prompting individuals to contemplate their own inner growth and the exploration of the unknown.

WEEK 1

idea

I am an avid fan of Stephen Chow’s movies. And I am extremely interested in martial arts action movies. I greatly enjoy the sense of impact that martial arts scenes bring to me. So I decided to borrow the Wudai elements from kung fu movies. Some amazing kung fu duels became an important part of my idea. The problem that tutor pointed out to me with my idea was that I was borrowing too many elements and losing some of my own ideas. He suggested that I try to explain the causes of the fights between the characters. I combined these with scenes from the Matrix movie, and with the help of my mentor I extended the story line.
